I focus on large-scale, realist portraits of the buyer, a loved one, a pet, or couples, drawn on museum quality cotton paper that will last centuries.

Working with clients has been a joy of mine since I began portrait commissions 10 years ago. Wherever possible, I like to take the reference photographs myself and build a personal connection with the subject.

I also work from photographs taken by local photographers or a specific image chosen by the buyer (i.e. favorite old photographs, wedding photographs, etc.)

Additional info

I work closely with my clients to ensure satisfaction, from selection of the reference through to delivery. I require a 1/2 deposit at the outset of the project, and final payment after a progress review near completion.

A typical portrait will be delivered no more than two months after initial payment. I will provide progress updates and if there is any unexpected delay I will contact you immediately.

If you’re interested in an artist’s reference photo-shoot to secure the best image, please let me know. Taking the photos myself will produce the best results, however I will bill travel costs.
